By picking this up in your local Best Buy, you'd swear this was "The Cheese Show." I can only imagine that this is how the characters would most likely feel to know that this ugly, little schmuck is slowly choking their show to death." - * jbwarner86.Īfter seeing "The Cheese Show," 's protesting fan art picture against the character, Cheese from the show, "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends," I decided to make a rant on him to show my dislike for him as well. Cheese appears in ONE EPISODE in Season 2. None of the other characters are even mentioned, let alone pictured. Just look at the box art for the upcoming "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: The Complete Season 2" DVD. And yet somehow, he's managed to outshine everybody else on the show to become the most popular character. Cheese is the total antithesis of everything that makes "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" great he's stupid, oblivious, one-dimensional, poorly drawn, and his dialogue is insipid and shallow.and most significantly, he has never made me laugh.

WARNING: Any negative or insulting comments on this rant will be hidden and the user who wrote it will be blocked and/or reported. If you like Cheese, that's OK with me, but, personally, to me, he's just a nuisance that was put into "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" for absolutely no reason at all. The only time I even watch the episodes, "Mac Daddy" or "The Big Cheese" is only to see Bloo or the gang get him away from their lives. I don't know if having Cheese appear four times in the cartoon was intentional or the writers just put him in there to annoy the living crud out of everybody on this planet. It just seems to me this brain-dead idiot is the insult to everyone's intelligence! Just because Cheese was a popular icon on "Foster's," doesn't mean Craig McCracken and the writers of the show had to shove him down the viewers' throats. Ugh, Cheese makes me want to tear my hair out and go crazy! However, I will admit, that if "Mac Daddy" had been his first and only appearance, I wouldn't have a problem with him because he would have been gone for good.īut, guess what? Cheese became such a popular character because he was so "charming" the last time, he appeared in "The Big Cheese" and "Infernal Slumber" from Season 4, "Cheese a Go Go" from Season 5, and, thank goodness, only for a second in the final episode, "Goodbye to Bloo." Look at this list of them and you tell me if they are obnoxious, irritating and make you want to stick six forks in your ears:Ĥ: "DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN!" He's infantile, he's an antithesis of the protagonists, and not to mention his so called "catchphrases."

I mean, he is completely oblivious to the world around him. It's OK for a character to be stupid in an animated show, but Cheese, on the other hand, makes REAL stupid cartoon characters like Patrick the Starfish from "SpongeBob" and Billy from "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" look like saps. Heck, if I were a character in this cartoon, and Cheese was my imaginary friend, I would take him outside and throw him into the trash where he belongs. I don't blame him for trying to ditch the little monster. Throughout the episode, Bloo is constantly annoyed by Cheese, and tries several times to get rid of him, but each attempt fails.

Cheese from foster home for imaginary friends mac#
This character is none other than the loud, dumb, insipid and downright obnoxious imaginary friend, Cheese.įirst off, let me give you a little history behind this "oh, so cute and cuddly bundle of joy." I'm being sarcastic, of course.Ĭheese first appeared in the "Foster's" Season 2 episode, "Mac Daddy." He becomes Bloo's "brother" after Mac and Bloo are led to believe that Mac created this "THING" by accident. I'm sure most of you remember the classic Cartoon Network show, "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." It was a great show that had beautiful animation and likable main characters, but it had its "Yin and Yang" moments.įor every good character on this show, there were bad ones, and we're going to talk about a particular character that had Mac, Bloo, Frankie and the rest of the gang screaming in insanity.
